Ammar bin Humaid Honors Graduates of Job Excellence Assessor and Government Services Assessor Programs
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, affirmed that the Ajman Government, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, places people at the heart of its development journey, whether employees or customers.
This came during His Highness’s honoring ceremony today at the Emiri Diwan, attended by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, for graduates of the “Professional Diploma – Job Excellence Assessor” and “Professional Diploma – Government Services Assessor” programs, which are implemented by the Ajman Excellence Program in cooperation with Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman commended the graduates’ efforts and their professional and academic achievements, which align with Ajman Vision 2030 in building an advanced government apparatus capable of keeping pace with transformations and innovating pioneering models in institutional performance.
His Highness said: “We appreciate your diligence and commitment to refining your skills, and what this dedication demonstrates in terms of commitment to improving the quality of government work. Investing in your capabilities is an investment in the emirate’s future, and your role today represents an important step toward providing more efficient and quality services to the Ajman community.”
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi emphasized that the efficiency of government work is measured by its ability to improve quality of life and meet people’s needs, noting that the culture of leadership in Ajman has become a steadfast approach reflected in daily practices and work methods.
The “Professional Diploma - Job Excellence Assessor” program is the first of its kind at the national level, aiming to prepare assessors capable of evaluating job performance according to the highest quality and excellence standards and empowering them with the knowledge and skills necessary to apply evaluation methodologies within their institutions. The “Professional Diploma - Government Services Assessor” program contributes to preparing and qualifying assessors from national competencies in evaluating the quality of government services according to best practices and international standards.
These programs come as part of the Ajman Government’s efforts to consolidate the culture of excellence and leadership in institutional work, and to build government capabilities capable of conducting continuous internal evaluation and supporting development sustainability.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman also honored with the “Service Star Badge” a group of distinguished national competencies who have demonstrated exceptional presence in providing service to customers, in recognition of their excellence in dealing with customers and speed of service delivery. The honorees included Nasser Al Marzouki, Nouf Al Kaabi, and Aqeel Al Awadhi from the Land and Real Estate Regulation Department; Asma Al Marzouki from the Municipality and Planning Department; and Zainab Al Ali from the Port and Customs Department.
The “Service Star Badge” initiative is one of the government motivation tools in Ajman, as it highlights the excellence of personnel and the quality of their dealings with customers, in recognition of the speed of delivery and flexibility in dealing they have provided.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman said: “We are proud today to honor a select group of the emirate’s sons who embodied the values of excellence and mastery in their work, and contributed through their efforts to enhancing the quality of government services in Ajman and raising customer satisfaction.”
His Highness added: “Honoring those who received the ‘Service Star Badge’ is an appreciation for their efforts and commitment to providing the best services to customers.” His Highness noted that this type of initiative is an exemplary model in motivation based on excellence and improving institutional performance.
The initiative consolidates the approach of performance-based motivation, as it relies primarily on exceptional observations of distinguished employees through the “Mystery Shopper” program to ensure objectivity. This methodology has contributed to highlighting distinguished national models from various entities.
The professional diplomas come after studying ways to achieve and sustain leadership to establish a solid foundation in the entity from different dimensions covering aspects of institutional excellence, employees, and services, and develop national expertise capable of implementing evaluation and review processes within their institutions according to international methodologies, enabling the government to practice continuous internal evaluation and build sustainable institutional capacity.
This honoring represents an important milestone in the emirate’s path toward building the “Government of the Future,” as it brings together three pivotal initiatives that form an integrated framework for institutional excellence: starting with honoring individual performance through the “Service Star” initiative, in addition to building competencies through professional diplomas, thereby contributing to accelerating service delivery and improving customer satisfaction and happiness.
