About the Crown Prince of Ajman

His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi was born in the Emirate of Ajman on March 31, 1969. He grew up in a ruling family distinguished by wisdom and vision, and was raised by his father, who instilled in him the authentic values of leadership, a spirit of belonging to the homeland, and a commitment to serving citizens and working for the advancement of the Emirates. He began his education in Ajman's schools, then joined the Police College as part of its first batch, excelling and achieving first place in shooting and horsemanship. He then continued his academic and professional development through advanced training programs in administration and security sciences in the United Kingdom, which provided him with specialized expertise that reflected positively on his performance in public service.

On October 9, 1993, His Highness was appointed Crown Prince. In 2003, he assumed the role of Chairman of the Executive Council, which encompasses the government departments of the Emirate. Since then, he has led a comprehensive development journey with a renewed strategic vision and inspiring leadership, making the Emirate of Ajman an example of governmental excellence and sustainable development. His Highness has adopted innovation as a core value, quality of life as a fundamental goal, and integration with the federal government as a bridge to achieve the aspirations of the Union.

His Highness chairs several key institutions, including the Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charitable Foundation, the Board of Trustees of Ajman University, and the Board of Directors of Ajman Bank. He also supervises major development and infrastructure projects, including transportation networks, municipal services, and the enhancement of the Ajman Corniche.

Committed to social development and community empowerment, His Highness launched the Ajman Government Excellence Programme and established a medical treatment fund for citizens abroad. His initiatives support family welfare, housing assistance, youth empowerment, and women’s entrepreneurship, in addition to sponsoring cultural, religious, and Ramadan programmes that strengthen community cohesion and national identity. Today, H.H. Sheikh Ammar continues to guide Ajman’s progress with a balanced vision that preserves heritage and identity while fostering future-readiness, innovation, and sustainable development.
