Ajman Transport Signs Cooperation Agreement with Ajman Auto District to Support the Automotive Sector and Enhance the Business Environment

The Ajman Transport Authority signed a cooperation agreement with Ajman Auto District to consolidate integration and joint collaboration, enhancing the business and investment environment and stimulating creativity and innovation in the Emirate of Ajman.

The agreement was signed by Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ajman Auto District, and His Excellency Omar Mohammed Lootah, Director General of the Ajman Transport Authority.

The agreement aims to strengthen the strategic partnership between both parties, contributing to the support of investors, visitors, and entrepreneurs in the automotive sector and related services, and enhancing institutional integration among entities operating in this vital sector.

The agreement encompasses the provision of joint benefits and services serving the automotive sector, the exchange of investment-related information and expertise, and cooperation in organising joint events, exhibitions, and promotional activities, in support of economic activity and the enhancement of the Emirate’s investment appeal.

Areas of cooperation include facilitating procedures for investors and companies affiliated with both parties to benefit from the services provided, as well as exploring the provision of incentives and benefits for companies registered in the Emirate of Ajman within Ajman Auto District.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed bin Humaid Al Nuaimi affirmed that the signing of the agreement represents an important strategic step towards enhancing the competitiveness of the automotive sector in the Emirate and consolidating an attractive business environment built on institutional integration and effective partnership between the public and private sectors.

He explained that Ajman Auto District is working to develop an integrated framework that supports investors and entrepreneurs, providing a modern operating environment in line with international best practices, contributing to the attraction of qualitative investments in the automotive sector and related services.

He added that the agreement will contribute to streamlining procedures and delivering innovative solutions and services that support business growth, noting that these efforts directly reflect on the enhancement of economic activity and the elevation of the Emirate’s appeal as a promising hub in this sector.

His Excellency Omar Mohammed Lootah, Director General of the Ajman Transport Authority, affirmed that the agreement is in line with the Authority’s commitment to building effective strategic partnerships with entities supporting economic sectors, noting that cooperation with Ajman Auto District will represent a qualitative addition contributing to investor support and the development of services provided to the automotive sector, in alignment with the Emirate’s directions to promote sustainable development and raise its investment competitiveness.

Both parties affirmed their commitment to strengthening areas of cooperation, consolidating institutional partnership, driving growth in the business and services sector, and contributing to the advancement of the Emirate of Ajman as a leading investment destination.
