The Ajman Chamber met with the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce to explore ways of strengthening economic and trade cooperation and opening new channels for investment development between the Emirate of Ajman, Brazil, and Latin American countries, in support of expanding international partnerships and enhancing the presence of the business community on both sides.
This took place during a meeting held at the Ajman Chamber’s headquarters, attended by Khalid Al Shamsi, Director of the Information and Economic Studies Department, and Fatima Yaqoub Al Awadhi, Head of the Investment Attraction Section at the Ajman Chamber, alongside Nouri Dwaidri, Commercial Director, and Lyal Al Ghaddaf, Business Executive, representing the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
Khalid Al Shamsi opened the meeting by welcoming the delegation of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, commending the existing cooperative relations between the two sides and the progress being made through the organisation of joint events and initiatives.
Al Shamsi reviewed the key economic developments and investment opportunities in the Emirate of Ajman, particularly in the industrial, tourism, and logistics sectors, affirming that the economic environment in the Emirate benefits from the continuous support and follow-up of the wise leadership, contributing to the consolidation of ease of doing business, the simplification of procedures, and the acceleration of their completion, and enhancing Ajman’s standing as a promising investment destination.
Fatima Al Awadhi noted that investment and economic cooperation indicators between Ajman and Brazil reflect the importance of intensifying joint efforts and capitalising on the opportunities available to both sides in vital sectors including energy, light industries, modern technology, manufacturing industries, and agriculture.
Both sides agreed to organise a series of joint meetings and forums with the participation of business owners to explore available investment opportunities, develop trade exchange, and benefit from mutual expertise, alongside examining opportunities for participation in events and exhibitions held by both parties.
The Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce delegation commended the Ajman Chamber’s efforts in strengthening economic cooperation ties, affirming its commitment to expanding areas of partnership and developing trade and investment relations in the period ahead. The delegation noted that the Brazilian market offers diverse opportunities, particularly in the Arabic perfumes and clothing sectors, opening broader horizons for businesswomen to enhance their presence and grow their investments.
