Ajman Department of Economic Development Discusses Strengthening Economic Cooperation and Attracting Investment with the German Consulate

The Ajman Department of Economic Development received a delegation from the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, as part of the Department’s commitment to strengthening bridges of economic cooperation with international partners and exploring prospects for joint collaboration in the fields of investment and trade — supporting the competitiveness of the Emirate of Ajman as an attractive destination for business and investment.

During the meeting, the most prominent economic assets of the Emirate of Ajman were reviewed, along with the flexible and investment-stimulating environment it offers. Discussions also covered ways to attract German investment opportunities to the Emirate and enhance engagement with the German business community — contributing to opening broader avenues for cooperation between investors and entrepreneurs on both sides.

The two sides discussed opportunities for the exchange of expertise and best practices in the fields of economic development, and explored mechanisms for advancing future cooperation in support of economic and commercial relations — opening new horizons for investment partnerships between the Emirate of Ajman and the German business community.

Both sides affirmed the importance of continued coordination and communication, and of working to translate cooperation opportunities into practical initiatives that strengthen economic exchange and support the attraction of further quality investments to the Emirate of Ajman.

Ahmed Khair Al Balushi, Director of the Business Development Department, affirmed that the meeting reflects the Department’s commitment to expanding its international economic partnerships and enhancing the Emirate of Ajman’s presence on the regional and global investment map. He noted that Germany is an important economic market, possessing advanced expertise in the sectors of industry, technology, innovation, and specialised services.

Al Balushi added: “The Ajman Department of Economic Development seeks to strengthen cooperation with international partners and attract quality investments that support economic diversification in the Emirate — by highlighting available investment opportunities, facilitating the investor journey, and providing a flexible business environment capable of meeting the aspirations of companies and investors.”
