The Ajman Transport Authority has launched the corporate identity of the Transport Centre for Innovation and Future Foresight, in a strategic step aimed at consolidating innovative initiatives and future-oriented projects under a unified umbrella, and strengthening an institutional framework built on innovation, sustainability, and shaping the future of the transport and transportation sector in the Emirate.
The launch of the Centre aligns with the Ajman Government’s vision to foster a culture of innovation, develop smart and sustainable services, and adopt global best practices in the transport and transportation sector, contributing to enhancing quality of life and achieving customer satisfaction.
Wafa Al Balushi, Director of the Centre, affirmed that the launch of the Centre’s corporate identity represents a key milestone in the Authority’s journey towards building an innovative, future-ready work environment.
She explained that the Centre serves as an integrated platform for generating creative ideas, incubating development projects, and transforming challenges into opportunities that support the Authority’s competitiveness and institutional leadership.
She added that, in recent years, the Authority has launched several high-impact initiatives that laid the foundation for this direction. These include the Innovation Lab, established as an interactive space to develop ideas and encourage employees and partners to innovate, as well as the Ajman Transport Lab, launched in 2024 as a specialised platform for anticipating the future of transport and piloting smart and sustainable solutions.
The Authority also launched the Innovation Corner in 2021 to promote a culture of institutional creativity and encourage continuous participation in submitting improvement proposals. In addition, it introduced the 4x10 Corner in 2024, which focuses on accelerating delivery and enhancing institutional performance efficiency through the adoption of innovative ideas with direct impact.
Al Balushi noted that bringing these initiatives under a unified identity reflects the maturity of the Authority’s institutional experience and strengthens the integration of efforts in innovation and future foresight, supporting the implementation of strategic plans and keeping pace with rapid transformations in the smart transport sector.
The Ajman Transport Authority reaffirmed its commitment to continuing its efforts to foster a work environment that encourages creativity and to launching high-impact projects that reinforce the Emirate’s position as a leading hub for smart and sustainable transport services.
