High Demand and Operational Excellence for Ajman Transport During Eid Al Fitr Holiday

The Ajman Transport Authority announced that the total number of transport service users in the Emirate during the Eid Al Fitr holiday reached 435,571.

The Authority stated that the number of public transport users across internal and external routes reached 60,531, while the number of taxi users reached 375,040, reflecting the high demand for transport services and the Authority’s operational readiness during the Eid holiday period.

These figures reflect the success of the Authority’s operational and organisational plans, aimed at ensuring smooth traffic flow and the continuity of transport service delivery in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety, meeting the needs of community members and visitors alike and enhancing ease of mobility across various areas of the Emirate.

His Excellency Omar Mohammed Lootah, Director General of the Ajman Transport Authority, affirmed that the recorded results embody the public’s confidence in the Authority’s services and confirm its success in providing a transport system characterised by efficiency and reliability, contributing to a safe and comfortable travel experience for customers.

He added: “The Authority continues its efforts to develop public transport and taxi services and enhance their operational efficiency, in line with its strategic direction to provide integrated and sustainable transport services that support quality of life in Ajman.”
