The Ajman Chamber has registered the “Eco Smart Industry” initiative as a protected intellectual work under the intellectual property rights system at the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, marking a significant milestone that reflects the Chamber’s commitment to fostering institutional innovation and adopting sustainable solutions. The initiative supports the development of the industrial sector and promotes environmental and economic balance through rationalising consumption, conserving resources, and increasing productivity.
Mariam Al Nuaimi, Initiative Lead and Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Ajman Chamber, highlighted the importance of registering the initiative as an intellectual work, affirming that “this step represents a major advancement in documenting institutional innovation and encourages the wider adoption of the initiative across the industrial sector.”
She added that “the Eco Smart Industry initiative provides an effective platform for exchanging expertise and best practices in consumption rationalisation and resource conservation among private sector enterprises.
