Ajman Celebrates Kuwaiti Students at Its Universities During UAE and Kuwait… Brothers Forever Week

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, the Emirate of Ajman organized a special celebration honouring students from the sisterly State of Kuwait studying at the Emirate’s universities, on the occasion of “UAE and Kuwait… Brothers Forever” Week, in an event that embodied the depth of fraternal and historical ties uniting the two countries and their shared commitment to enhancing cultural and educational cooperation between the two brotherly peoples.

The celebration was held at Ajman University in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, a number of sheikhs and officials, His Excellency Counsellor Tariq Salah Al Khashram, Deputy Consul General of the State of Kuwait to Dubai and the Northern Emirates, alongside a number of academics and students.

The celebration witnessed the presentation of the UAE-Kuwait Relations Shield to His Excellency the Deputy Consul General, in celebration of this occasion and in affirmation of the strength of bilateral relations that transcend official frameworks to encompass deep-rooted humanitarian, educational, and cultural bonds. Commemorative gifts were also distributed to students to commemorate this week.

His Excellency Counsellor Tariq Salah Al Khashram, in his speech during the celebration, affirmed that relations between the State of Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates are deep-rooted fraternal relations with historical foundations, reflecting unity of destiny and a shared vision for the region’s future.

He stated that “the future of our region is based on cooperation not competition, and on partnership not isolation,” praising the advanced educational environment provided by the UAE that nurtures Kuwaiti students, contributing to refining their skills and preparing them for active participation in the development journey.

For his part, His Excellency Mohammed Al Kaabi affirmed that UAE-Kuwait relations represent an exemplary model in Gulf and Arab relations, noting that the education sector has been and remains one of the most prominent bridges of communication between the two countries.

He added that “the universities of the Emirate of Ajman, over the past decades, have embraced thousands of Kuwaiti students who received their education in an advanced academic environment and subsequently contributed to serving their nation and communities,” noting that celebrating Kuwaiti students comes as a reinforcement of the spirit of brotherhood and shared Gulf belonging.

The students expressed their pride in studying in the United Arab Emirates, appreciating the support and care they receive in the Emirate of Ajman, and affirming that their educational experience represents a qualitative addition to their academic and professional journey.
