Ajman Transport Records 6.6 Million Taxi Users in Q1 2026 with 5.6% Growth

The Ajman Transport Authority recorded an increase in the number of taxi users during the first quarter of 2026, with the total number of passengers reaching 6,644,536, compared to 6,293,538 during the same period in 2025, an increase of 350,998 users, representing a growth rate of approximately 5.6%.

Engineer Sami Ali Al Jallaf, Executive Director of the Public Transport and Licensing Corporation, said that this growth reflects the rising demand for taxi services in the Emirate and affirms the operational readiness that the Authority is committed to enhancing, in line with customer needs and contributing to the delivery of safe and reliable transport services.

Al Jallaf noted that the Authority continues its efforts to develop the transport system and improve the customer experience, through elevating service quality and expanding the scope of smart solutions, supporting smooth mobility and enhancing quality of life in the Emirate.
