7,383 Beneficiaries of People of Determination Transport Service in Ajman During 2025

The Transport Authority in Ajman has reported that the People of Determination transport service achieved 7.5% growth in the number of beneficiaries during 2025 compared to 2024, with the number of beneficiaries reaching 7,383 in the past year, compared to 6,868 beneficiaries in the previous year.

The Authority affirmed its continuous commitment to developing the specialized transport system to meet the needs of various segments of society, while enhancing attention to the People of Determination and senior citizens, thereby contributing to enhancing ease of mobility and improving quality of life in the Emirate of Ajman.

Engineer Sami Ali Al Jallaf, Executive Director of the Public Transport and Licensing Corporation, stated that the People of Determination transport service is provided free of charge and witnessed notable improvement during 2025, supported by efforts to raise operational efficiency and expand service scope, alongside enhancing the People of Determination vehicle fleet, which contributed to meeting increasing demand and improving response speed.

Al Jallaf noted that the People of Determination service vehicles are equipped according to the best technical standards to suit the requirements of persons with mobility disabilities, including wheelchair lifts, designated seats for companions, in addition to safety and monitoring systems and trip tracking capability, ensuring a safe and comfortable transportation experience for beneficiaries.

The Authority also provides a taxi booking service for senior citizens with limited income who are registered with the Ministry of Community Development, aimed at facilitating their travel from their homes to medical appointments within the Emirate of Ajman free of charge.

This service is provided free of charge according to specific conditions, including that the beneficiary must be a senior citizen with limited income registered with the Ministry of Community Development, and that both the place of residence and medical appointment are within the Emirate of Ajman.
