Ajman Chamber Records 52.1% Growth in Value of Certificates of Origin During 2025 at AED 7.851 Billion
Ajman Chamber achieved strong economic performance during 2025, recording notable growth in the number and values of certificate of origin transactions, reflecting the vitality of the commercial and industrial sector in the emirate and the growing role as a regional center for export and re-export.
The annual statistical report of Ajman Chamber showed that the total number of certificate of origin transactions issued from the emirate reached 46,888 certificates during 2025, compared to 44,739 certificates in 2024, with a growth rate of 4.8%.
The increase was driven by growth in export certificates, which rose to 12,852 certificates compared to 10,547 certificates in the previous year, while re-export certificates recorded 34,036 certificates.
In terms of value, certificate of origin transactions recorded a significant leap, as the total value reached AED 7.851 billion in 2025 compared to AED 5.162 billion in 2024, achieving a strong growth rate of 52.1%, confirming the expansion of foreign trade activity through Ajman.
The value of Ajman’s direct exports reached AED 2.12 billion, while the value of re-exports reached AED 5.73 billion, reflecting the emirate’s pivotal role as a commercial gateway for re-exporting goods to regional and international markets.
Libya topped the list of countries receiving Ajman’s exports and re-exports with a value approaching AED 2.8 billion, followed by Saudi Arabia with approximately AED 982 million, then Qatar, Iraq, and Egypt.
The list also included Ethiopia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Sultanate of Oman, and Jordan, reflecting the diversity of markets and the breadth of the emirate’s commercial partnerships.
Ajman Chamber membership (new and renewed licenses) during the past year recorded 43,486 memberships, distributed across commercial, industrial, professional activities and freelance work licenses, indicating the continued growth of the business environment and expansion of the economic establishments base in the emirate.
Ajman Chamber affirmed that these results reflect the strength of commercial activity in Ajman and the emirate’s benefit from its logistical infrastructure and strategic location, in addition to a business environment supportive of investment, thereby enhancing its position as a vital center for regional trade and re-export, and an important tributary to the national economy.
