Ajman Summer 2026 Continues Its Positive Results in the Fourth Week with 119 Programmes and 2,370 Beneficiaries

The Ajman Government’s summer programme, Ajman Summer 2026, continued to deliver positive results during its fourth week by offering a diverse range of sporting, scientific, cultural, community, voluntary, and recreational programmes and activities, attracting broad participation from children, adolescents, youth, and members of the community.

The fourth week saw the implementation of 119 programmes and activities across the various participating centres and entities, benefiting 2,370 participants against a target of 2,362 beneficiaries, bringing the overall target achievement rate to 100.3%. This reflects the continued strong turnout for the programme’s activities and the diversity of opportunities offered to its various target groups.

‏The week’s activities were distributed across the Boys’ Summer Centre, the Girls’ Summer Centre, the Scientific Summer Centre, the Cultural Summer Centre, community programmes, government and private sector programmes, voluntary and humanitarian programmes, the Sports Centre for People of Determination, as well as competitions and recreational programmes. Several tracks recorded achievement rates that exceeded their targets, most notably the Scientific Summer Centre at 136%, voluntary and humanitarian programmes at 129.2%, community programmes at 128.5%, and the Sports Centre for People of Determination at 107.2%.

‏The Boys’ Summer Centre delivered seven programmes benefiting 462 participants against a target of 515, achieving an achievement rate of 89.7%. The programmes included swimming, sports activities, taekwondo, football, and capacity-building, skills development, and heritage activities. The swimming and football programmes exceeded their respective targets, achieving rates of 105% and 116.7%.

‏At the Girls’ Summer Centre, 64 workshops and programmes were delivered, with cumulative attendance reaching 694 participants over four days, at an average daily attendance of 174 participants and an overall achievement rate of 87%. Monday recorded the highest attendance with 187 participants, reflecting the diversity of activities and workshops offered to girls across the targeted age groups during the fourth week.

‏The Scientific Summer Centre saw notable demand for the Robot Programming programme, which attracted 34 participants against a target of 25, achieving an achievement rate of 136%, highlighting participants’ growing interest in technical skills and modern scientific applications, as well as the role of the summer programme in developing their capabilities in programming and technology.

‏The Cultural Summer Centre delivered 10 diverse workshops and activities, with cumulative attendance reaching 200 participants at an average of 50 participants per day. The workshops covered artistic, cultural, and creative activities, providing educational and interactive spaces that help participants develop their talents, refine their skills, and make productive use of their summer holiday.

‏Community programmes also recorded strong performance during the fourth week, benefiting 167 participants against a target of 130 and achieving an achievement rate of 128.5%. The four community programmes brought together 104 senior citizens and 63 children and young people, contributing to stronger community engagement and interaction across different age groups.

‏As part of integrated efforts between government and private sector entities, 24 programmes were implemented, benefiting 808 participants against a target of 892, achieving an achievement rate of 90.6%. The programmes covered a range of awareness, knowledge, and skills-based topics, reflecting the active role of partners in enriching the summer programme and providing diverse experiences for participants.

‏Voluntary and humanitarian programmes also witnessed notable engagement, benefiting 84 participants against a target of 65, achieving an achievement rate of 129.2%. These included the Ihsan Yosal (Benevolence Reaches) initiative, which attracted 59 beneficiaries against a target of 45, and the Ihsan Yuqaddem (Benevolence Gives) initiative, which recorded 25 beneficiaries against a target of 20, reinforcing the values of volunteering, giving, solidarity, and social responsibility among participants.

‏The Sports Centre for People of Determination continued to achieve positive results, benefiting 359 participants against a target of 335 and recording an achievement rate of 107.2%. Its four sporting and artistic programmes all exceeded their respective targets, reflecting the commitment to providing an inclusive sporting and recreational environment that supports the participation of People of Determination and helps develop their capabilities and talents.

‏The fourth week also featured three competitions and recreational programmes, attracting a total of 82 participants, alongside the recognition of winners and outstanding participants, as part of efforts to foster a positive competitive environment and encourage engagement and creativity.

‏The results of programme and event evaluation surveys reflected high levels of participant satisfaction, with satisfaction indicators ranging between 96% and 99% across several aspects related to programme quality, organisation, and the overall participant experience.

‏The fifth and final week of Ajman Summer 2026 will witness broad participation from various entities, alongside the conclusion of a number of programmes and activities that have continued throughout the previous weeks, in preparation for bringing this year’s edition to a close following a series of diverse activities and experiences that have contributed to enhancing participants’ skills and enriching their summer experience.
