Ajman, 11 October 2026:
The Department of Tourism, Culture & Media - Ajman is organising a promotional roadshow across Central Asian markets from 12 to 16 October, as part of its strategic efforts to diversify the emirate’s tourism source markets.
The roadshow will visit Tashkent on 13 October and Almaty on 15 October. It aims to establish direct channels of engagement with key partners in the travel and tourism sector and position Ajman as a comprehensive destination that combines authenticity with diverse experiences.
The two stops will serve as key platforms for engaging with industry professionals and stakeholders, showcasing the emirate’s extensive tourism offerings and experiences, and exploring opportunities for cooperation and high-quality partnerships that expand awareness of Ajman among visitors.
The roadshow forms part of the Department’s strategy to strengthen its international network and expand its base of partners capable of bringing the emirate’s tourism experiences to promising new markets.
The Department’s promotional campaign focuses on highlighting the diversity of the Ajman experience in all its dimensions—from its cultural and heritage legacy to its natural assets, distinctive hospitality and varied leisure offerings. This diversity presents a comprehensive image of the emirate that appeals to the interests of multiple visitor segments, reinforcing its appeal as a year-round tourism destination.
His Excellency Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashimi, Director General of the Department of Tourism, Culture & Media - Ajman, said: “Promotional roadshows represent a strategic pillar for building sustainable relationships with our partners and strengthening Ajman’s presence in international markets through direct engagement that promotes its tourism experience and diverse assets.”
He added: “Through our stops in Tashkent and Almaty, we seek to expand cooperation with the travel and tourism sector and open new channels that carry Ajman’s story to wider segments of visitors, thereby supporting the competitiveness of the emirate’s tourism sector.”
The Central Asia roadshow follows a series of promotional tours undertaken by the Department in European, Indian and Chinese markets, as part of an approach focused on diversifying markets, expanding international partnerships and consolidating Ajman’s position on the global tourism map.
