‏Ajman Summer 2026 Concludes Its Seventh Edition with 338 Activities and More Than 10,000 Beneficiaries

‏The Ajman Government’s summer programme, Ajman Summer 2026, has concluded its seventh edition after five weeks of diverse summer programmes and activities, recording broad participation from all segments of the community and results that exceeded this year’s established targets.

‏Over the course of the programme, Ajman Summer 2026’s programmes and centres reached 10,242 beneficiaries, compared with a target of 9,206, achieving 111.2% of the target. A total of 8,812 participants registered through the system, while 338 activities and programmes were delivered across the various summer centres and tracks.

‏The seventh edition featured a broad diversity of programmes, including sporting, scientific, cultural, community and voluntary activities, as well as competitions and programmes delivered in cooperation with government and private entities. This enabled participants to enjoy an integrated summer experience combining learning, skills development, entertainment and teamwork.

‏The Boys’ Summer Centre recorded 504 beneficiaries through seven activities, against a target of 514 beneficiaries. The Girls’ Summer Centre attracted 805 beneficiaries through 117 activities, compared with a target of 1,129 beneficiaries.

‏The Scientific Summer Centre achieved notable results, reaching 373 beneficiaries through five activities, against a target of 120 beneficiaries, and recording an achievement rate of 310.8%. The Cultural Summer Centre reached 965 beneficiaries through 31 activities, compared with a target of 885 beneficiaries, achieving 109% of its target.

‏Community programmes for senior citizens recorded wide participation, benefiting 968 participants through 20 activities against a target of 630 beneficiaries, and achieving 153.6% of the target — reflecting strong demand for and community engagement with the programmes offered.

‏Programmes delivered by government and private entities accounted for the largest share of participation, recording 5,746 beneficiaries through 122 activities, compared with a target of 5,008 beneficiaries, and achieving 114.7% of the target. This clearly reflects the scale of partnership and integration among participating entities in supporting the initiative and expanding the scope of its programmes.

‏Voluntary programmes benefited 595 participants through 15 activities, against a target of 500 beneficiaries. The Sports Centre for People of Determination recorded 102 beneficiaries through four activities, compared with a target of 120 beneficiaries. In addition, the Competitions and Recreational Programmes Committee recorded 358 beneficiaries through 17 activities, exceeding its target of 300 beneficiaries and achieving a rate of 119.3%.

‏Over five weeks, Ajman Summer 2026 provided a safe and stimulating summer environment that offered participants diverse opportunities to acquire knowledge, develop skills, discover talents and reinforce the values of innovation, volunteering and social responsibility, while making productive use of leisure time through purposeful programmes that combine benefit and enjoyment.

‏His Excellency Ahmed Al Raeesi, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee for Ajman Summer 2026, affirmed that the results achieved by the programme’s seventh edition reflect the initiative’s continued success and the high level of engagement with its programmes. He noted that reaching 10,242 beneficiaries through 338 activities and programmes confirms the initiative’s ability to deliver quality programmes that meet the aspirations of all segments of the community.

‏He said: “We are proud of what the seventh edition of Ajman Summer has achieved, not only in terms of figures and surpassing targets, but also in the positive impact it has left on participants and the opportunities it has provided for learning, skills development, talent discovery and the purposeful use of leisure time. This success is the outcome of the integrated efforts of the working teams, government and private entities, partners and volunteers, alongside the strong support and engagement of participants and their families. We look forward to continuing to develop the initiative and deliver more diverse and impactful experiences in future editions.”

‏The success achieved by the seventh edition, and the exceeding of the overall beneficiary targets, reflect the outcome of cooperation and integration among the various centres, government and private entities, partners, volunteers and working teams, alongside the strong engagement of participants and their families throughout the programme.

‏With the conclusion of this year’s activities, Ajman Summer 2026 has further consolidated its presence as a community programme that contributes to building a generation that is more aware, creative and connected to its national identity, through a summer experience that combines learning, creativity, challenge and community participation.
