Ajman University Ranks Among World’s Top 400 Universities in Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027

Ajman University has been ranked among the world’s top 400 universities in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027, an achievement reflecting the continued progress of its academic development and its growing international presence.

The University ranked second globally in the International Outlook pillar, which measures an institution’s international presence through the proportion of international students and faculty members, as well as research collaboration with international co-authors.

This ranking reflects the University’s ability to attract students and academics from around the world and strengthen its research community’s engagement with international counterparts, enriching its academic environment through a diversity of expertise and perspectives.

The recognition represents a further step in Ajman University’s global journey and strengthens its presence within an increasingly competitive international higher education landscape.

This progress is the outcome of continued investment in the quality of education and research, strengthened international academic cooperation, and the provision of a learning environment that meets students’ aspirations and future requirements.

This year’s rankings included 2,297 higher education institutions worldwide. Ajman University was placed in the 376–400 band globally and ranked fifth among UAE universities included in the rankings.

Dr Karim Al Sagheer, Chancellor of Ajman University, said: “The University’s achievement of fifth place among UAE universities included in the rankings reflects the progress made by the country’s higher education sector and its growing ability to compete globally.”
