Students from City Private School in Ajman participated in the Future We Want Model United Nations (FWWMUN) Summer 2026 Conference in New York, USA—one of the world’s largest Model United Nations conferences, bringing together students and delegates from more than 190 countries.
City Private School is the first school in the Emirate of Ajman to participate with a student delegation in this prestigious global event, providing students with a unique opportunity to engage with young leaders from diverse cultural and national backgrounds, exchange perspectives, and gain first-hand experience in international diplomacy and multilateral dialogue. The participation marks a significant milestone for both the school and the Emirate of Ajman.
Throughout the conference, the students demonstrated outstanding leadership, diplomacy, critical thinking, public speaking, negotiation, and cross-cultural collaboration skills. Through Model United Nations simulations and discussions addressing a range of global challenges and issues, they engaged in a rich educational experience that enabled them to examine complex issues from different perspectives, develop informed positions, and work collaboratively towards constructive solutions.
Beyond the conference itself, the experience offered students valuable exposure to an international environment, while enabling them to build meaningful connections and exchange experiences with peers from around the world. Their participation in New York represents an important step in strengthening their self-confidence, enhancing their communication skills, and broadening their awareness of global issues, helping prepare them to become active and responsible members of their communities and the wider world.
The students’ participation in this prestigious international conference also reflects City Private School’s commitment to providing enriching educational experiences that extend beyond the classroom. By encouraging students to participate in global forums, competitions, leadership programmes, and international learning opportunities, the school continues to support the development of young people who are prepared to contribute meaningfully to their communities and the international stage.
This achievement also reflects the Emirate of Ajman’s vision of advancing a world-class education sector that equips students with the knowledge, skills, and global perspective needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. The participation of City Private School students at FWWMUN Summer 2026 marks an important milestone and showcases the ability of Emirati youth to engage confidently and effectively on the global stage.
