The Ajman Police General Command has signed a cooperation agreement with Huawei Technologies, with the aim of strengthening joint cooperation and coordination in the fields of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and advanced storage solutions — supporting digital transformation efforts and elevating the efficiency of police services delivered to customers.
The agreement was signed by His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-General of Ajman Police, and Zheng Zhang, Head of the Projects Division at Huawei, in the presence of His Excellency Brigadier Sultan Khalifa Al Muhairi, Deputy Commander-General, and a number of senior officers and officials from both sides.
His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi affirmed that the agreement is in alignment with the UAE Government’s directions to adopt modern technologies and strengthen the innovation and artificial intelligence ecosystem — contributing to the development of police work, the enhancement of institutional performance, and the achievement of the Ajman Police General Command’s vision of leadership and excellence.
He explained that the agreement embodies the approach of partnership and integration between government institutions and the private sector, through leveraging the advanced expertise and technical capabilities of Huawei — reflecting positively on the quality of services delivered and the speed of response to future requirements.
The agreement provides for cooperation in the provision of ICT infrastructure solutions to strengthen the digital foundation of the Ajman Police General Command, the development of innovative solutions for the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into police systems and applications in line with the rapid pace of advancement in the technical field, as well as cooperation in the areas of data analytics and modern storage units, the exchange of technical expertise and knowledge, and collaboration in research, development, and innovation — contributing to the support of future technical projects, the enhancement of digital systems readiness, and the elevation of police operational efficiency in accordance with global best practices.
For his part, Zhang expressed his pride in cooperating with the Ajman Police General Command, affirming Huawei’s commitment to supporting digital transformation efforts and delivering the latest smart solutions and technologies that contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and achieving sustainability and innovation in government services.
