Ajman Human Resources Department Calls on Government Entities to Activate Remote Work During Exceptional Circumstances
The Human Resources Department of the Ajman Government has called on all government entities in the Emirate to make use of the approved remote work system and to provide the necessary flexibility for employees, thereby ensuring business continuity, service delivery efficiency and the safety of human resources.
The Department affirmed that the system provides a comprehensive regulatory framework enabling government entities to manage their human resources efficiently and flexibly, and enhances their capacity to adapt to various operational conditions and developments, including emergency situations such as adverse weather conditions, remote learning for employees’ children, and other cases determined by the government entity in accordance with emergency circumstances.
The Department clarified that activating the system reflects a proactive approach that enhances the readiness of government entities and affirms their commitment to adopting best practices in government work management, achieving a balance between institutional performance continuity and employee safety, while maintaining the quality of services provided to customers.
The Department also stressed the importance of government entities adhering to the approved controls and procedures of the remote work system, contributing to increased productivity, enhanced institutional performance efficiency and an elevated standard of government services.
This direction comes within the framework of Ajman Government’s efforts to consolidate a culture of flexible work, promote institutional innovation and build a government system capable of adapting to change and achieving excellence and sustainability in performance and services.
