The Ajman Government Human Resources Department organised the Fursa (Opportunity) Private Sector Employment Fair, which successfully provided more than 400 job vacancies for UAE nationals seeking employment, with the participation of 26 companies. The fair was held at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel in the presence of His Excellency Rashid Abdulrahman bin Jabran Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Department.
During his tour of the fair, Al Suwaidi reviewed the job opportunities on offer and met with representatives of the participating companies as well as a number of job seekers. He affirmed that these initiatives reflect the Department’s commitment to enhancing employment opportunities for UAE nationals and supporting Emiratisation targets, noting that the organisation of the Fursa fair comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to support Emiratisation policies and provide UAE nationals with opportunities in the private sector — by offering a direct platform that brings job seekers together with private sector institutions, enabling them to explore available opportunities and attend face-to-face interviews.
He added that the fair highlights the importance of the strategic partnership between the public and private sectors in supporting Emiratisation and empowering national talent through quality employment opportunities that enhance their participation in the labour market, in line with national directions in human development and efforts to build a competitive, knowledge-based economy.
The job vacancies targeted UAE nationals holding bachelor’s degrees, diplomas, and secondary school certificates, reflecting the diversity of beneficiary groups and supporting Emiratisation objectives across various economic sectors. The opportunities spanned administration and administrative support, finance and accounting, human resources, support services, marketing, media and communications, health, safety and environment, education and training, studies, policies and research, customer service, and general operations — providing a wide range of career options for candidates of different qualifications and experience levels.
The fair attracted a large number of UAE nationals seeking employment, with several direct job interviews conducted during the event.
This event reflects the Ajman Government Human Resources Department’s commitment to developing initiatives that connect national talent with promising employment opportunities, enhance their readiness for the evolving labour market, and support the development of a qualified human capital capable of contributing effectively to Ajman’s comprehensive development journey.
