Ajman Excellence Program Launches Community Environmental Initiative to Green Neighborhoods and Improve Quality of Life

The Ajman Excellence Program launched a community initiative to green neighborhoods, in a step that reflects its commitment to supporting community development and consolidating the culture of giving and social responsibility, thereby enhancing its role as a catalyst for qualitative initiatives. The initiative represents an important pillar in promoting environmental sustainability by encouraging community members to plant trees and increase green spaces, contributing to improving quality of life and providing a sustainable and safe environment that supports achieving the emirate’s vision for sustainable development.

The initiative focuses on motivating community members to actively participate in improving the public environment by spreading environmental awareness and encouraging voluntary initiatives that contribute to preserving the aesthetics of residential neighborhoods and enhancing quality of life. Coordination has been made with community members to participate in tree-planting activities, which included field visits to multiple areas within the emirate, in addition to implementing planting operations in homes, strengthening the community’s role in supporting environmental sustainability.

The initiative also contributes to raising the level of community awareness of excellence by highlighting positive environmental initiatives, enhancing the spirit of belonging and individual initiative, and consolidating the values of institutional and community excellence in dealing with the environment and public spaces.

The Ajman Excellence Program affirmed that the initiative comes as a continuation of the program’s efforts to support purposeful community initiatives and engage the community as a key partner in promoting sustainability and improving quality of life in the Emirate of Ajman.
