Ajman Civil Defence Continues High-Efficiency Response to Current Weather Conditions
The General Directorate of Civil Defence in Ajman continues its efforts to address the current weather conditions, having raised readiness levels to receive any incident reports that may arise from heavy rainfall or strong winds, and having put in place a structured emergency plan in preparation for all circumstances with a high degree of efficiency and professionalism.
The Directorate called on community members to follow awareness guidelines and preventive instructions, particularly with regard to inspecting the waterproofing of electronic devices to prevent water from seeping into electrical transformers, refraining from using wet or water-submerged electrical equipment until it has been inspected by a qualified technician, and keeping away from rainwater accumulation areas and elevated locations, in order to safeguard their safety and the safety of their property.
The Directorate also stressed the importance of not leaving homes during the current weather conditions except in cases of necessity, in addition to keeping away from flowing wadi areas.
The Directorate further recommended keeping away from and refraining from touching electrical equipment and poles, avoiding standing under trees during strong winds, not allowing children to leave homes or play in water accumulation areas, and ensuring that weather information is obtained exclusively from official and accredited authorities in the country.
