Ammar bin Humaid Approves Package of Resolutions to Strengthen Institutional Readiness and Business Continuity in Ajman Government
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, has approved a package of executive resolutions consolidating the framework of institutional readiness and business continuity in the Ajman Government, within a proactive government approach that ensures the continuity and quality of services under all circumstances and developments.
This came during a comprehensive briefing presented to His Highness by the four government committees formed under a resolution of the Chairman of the Executive Council, namely: the Government Services Continuity Committee, the Economy and Supply Chains Committee, the Public Services Committee, and the Community Communication and Media Committee.
The briefing reviewed the committees’ achievements in terms of periodic monitoring of indicators, tracking of developments and coordination with relevant local and federal entities, drawing on lessons from previous crises to build a more mature and proactive framework.
The briefing revealed a comprehensive set of indicators covering the Emirate’s vital sectors, including proactive monitoring of port activity, supply chains and essential commodity markets to enable rapid intervention before consumers are affected. Monitoring also extends to response times for critical field services within a framework encompassing 11 public service indicators, as well as the readiness of government digital systems and a community communication framework ensuring the swift and clear delivery of official messages.
The resolutions included the adoption of the National Standard for Business Continuity Management as a unified official reference across the Ajman Government, the preparation of a matrix of authorities and operational protocols that precisely define responsibilities and accelerate decision-making, and the appointment of local contact points for critical services provided by federal entities and the private sector, thereby raising the efficiency of institutional coordination and ensuring response readiness under exceptional circumstances.
His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman directed the continued development of the business continuity framework and the enhancement of institutional readiness, as well as the strengthening of role integration among government entities, contributing to swift responses to developments and the maintenance of service quality for the community.
His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi affirmed that the readiness of the government framework and the proactiveness of institutional work represent a fundamental pillar in the development of government performance and the enhancement of entities’ capacity to continue delivering their services efficiently and sustainably, with a positive reflection on quality of life in the Emirate.
This comes within the framework of the Ajman Government’s approach to consolidating a more flexible and integrated government work system, capable of efficiently addressing changes and ensuring the continuity of priority services, in alignment with the targets of Ajman Vision 2030, which places people at the heart of development and drives the building of a government framework that is more prepared, efficient and responsive to the needs of the community.
