Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry has achieved a new international distinction, winning the E-Government Project Award in the “Smart Government” category at the GovMedia Conference and Awards 2026 in Singapore — in recognition of its innovative efforts in developing its service ecosystem, management, and planning in accordance with global best practices.
The award was presented to His Excellency Mahmoud Abu Al Shourab, Member of the Board of Directors of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, during the GovMedia Conference and Awards 2026 — an international platform dedicated to honouring pioneering government initiatives and outstanding models that contribute to the development of government performance and the enhancement of government service efficiency across the Asia-Pacific region.
His Excellency Mahmoud Abu Al Shourab affirmed that the Chamber’s win of this international award reflects the success of the efforts undertaken in developing the customer service ecosystem, promoting innovation in service delivery, and adopting best global practices in digital transformation. This reinforces a dynamic approach founded on understanding customer needs and delivering services that are more efficient, flexible, and of higher quality — consolidating the Chamber’s pioneering standing at the international level and supporting the competitiveness and economic and investment attractiveness of the Emirate of Ajman.
His Excellency also presented a working paper during the GovMedia Conference and Awards 2026 sessions, entitled “Ajman Chamber’s Approach and Tools for Service Redesign and Development”, in which he outlined the Chamber’s methodology for service development, the mechanisms for deploying artificial intelligence tools, and the efforts invested in monitoring and analysis with the aim of designing services that are more efficient, faster, and more proactive.
He added: “The Chamber relies on several key pillars in the continuous development of its services, including engaging customers in the design and improvement of services as a fundamental partner in the development process; building systems based on customer behaviour patterns as the foundation for design and decision-making; and deploying digital solutions and artificial intelligence technologies with the aim of elevating service efficiency and enhancing service responsiveness and effectiveness”
Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry is committed to advancing the transformation and development of its services through the adoption of a methodology for monitoring and analysing challenges, reducing the recurrence of complaints, and addressing them proactively — alongside the implementation of the “Zero Bureaucracy” programme, which redesigns services through a flexible digital approach that reduces complexity, raises performance efficiency, and enhances service continuity.
