Ruler of Ajman Orders Release of 134 Inmates on the Occasion of the Blessed Month of Ramadan
His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, has ordered the release of 134 inmates from the correctional and penal facilities at Ajman Police General Command, on the occasion of the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan, for having demonstrated good conduct and behaviour during their sentence execution, as they met the conditions for pardon and proved their eligibility to benefit from it and be exempted from the remaining sentence period.
The release order came out of His Highness the Ruler of Ajman’s commitment to bringing joy and hope to the inmates in particular and their families, relatives and friends in general, to complete their joy of release and reunion with their families and loved ones, and in affirmation of His Highness’s care and great attention to the conditions of community members across their various segments and social circumstances.
His Highness expressed his wishes for those released to return properly and righteously to society and public life as righteous individuals who contribute to enhancing its security and stability in the embrace of the month of goodness, mercy and tolerance.
For his part, His Excellency Major General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, on this occasion, extended the highest expressions of thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, for His Highness’s order to pardon the convicts, which reflects his commitment to giving inmates the opportunity to become well-adjusted individuals and to be reunited with their families, affirming the immediate initiation of release procedures for those pardoned to return to their families.
