Under the Patronage of Humaid bin Rashid.. Ajman Holds First Women’s Heritage Wedding Under Tabaraktou Initiative
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and under the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, Ajman will host on 11 April its first women’s heritage wedding, with the participation of seven Emirati brides from the Emirate of Ajman.
The wedding is held under the “Tabaraktou” initiative organised by the Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charitable Foundation, in partnership with the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works.
The initiative reflects the leadership’s commitment to supporting family stability, easing the financial requirements of marriage, and fostering values of solidarity and social cohesion, while reviving authentic Emirati heritage and presenting it to new generations in a contemporary form that preserves its spirit and aesthetic character.
The “Tabaraktou” initiative aims to offer an inspiring model of collective heritage weddings, contributing to reducing costs, encouraging young people to marry, and preserving the community’s cultural identity.
The Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi Charitable Foundation affirmed that the initiative is part of its ongoing efforts to support community and cultural initiatives and enhance quality of life, noting that the participation of seven Emirati brides reflects the spirit of cooperation and community solidarity.
The celebration will be held as part of a comprehensive women’s programme featuring a variety of heritage segments, including folk songs and traditional performances, expressing the history and heritage of Ajman and affirming the enduring presence of Emirati tradition in social occasions.
