Amina Al Ghurair Mosque Consolidates its Endowment Mission through Integrated Ramadan Initiatives in Ajman
Sheikha Amina bint Ahmed Al Ghurair Mosque in Ajman demonstrated its community presence during the blessed month of Ramadan through a package of humanitarian and community initiatives implemented as ongoing charity for the late Sheikha, reflecting its mission to consolidate the values of giving and sustain the humanitarian impact in society.
The “Mawaed Al Baraka” initiative led the mosque’s Ramadan programmes, with daily Iftar tables organised for fasting individuals in the mosque’s vicinity, benefiting approximately 16,250 people throughout the holy month, with the number of meals served on Fridays increased to meet the needs of the workers’ category. The initiative was implemented in cooperation with a number of entities, including Humaid bin Rashid Charitable Foundation, Al Ihsan Charitable Society, the Charitable Works Authority, and “Virgo” company.
The mosque also launched the “Nour Bayna Aydina” initiative, through which 1,000 copies of the Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi edition of the Holy Quran were distributed, in cooperation with Humaid bin Rashid Centre for Holy Quran Service, in a step aimed at strengthening worshippers’ connection with the Book of Allah during the holy month.
Within the health initiatives, the mosque organised the “Pulse of Goodness” blood donation initiative, in cooperation with the Blood Transfusion Services and Research Centre in Sharjah, affiliated with Emirates Health Services, and with the participation of Metro Medical Centre, which witnessed notable turnout from worshippers, with the number of donors exceeding 60.
The campaign also included the provision of medical examinations covering blood pressure and blood sugar measurements, while Metro Medical Centre provided general health check-ups for worshippers during the event, within the framework of enhancing health awareness among mosque visitors.
The initiatives also encompassed the “Thank You” initiative, through which a number of volunteers were honoured with symbolic gifts including thank-you cards, in appreciation of their efforts in supporting and organising the events.
These initiatives come within an integrated system through which Sheikha Amina Al Ghurair Mosque embodies its endowment mission and continues its role in serving the community during the blessed month of Ramadan.
