Masfout Gateway.. A Tourist Destination on the UAE Tour 2026 Map

The Masfout Gateway in the Emirate of Ajman witnessed the passage of the UAE Tour 2026, the only global race listed on the International Cycling Union’s agenda in the Middle East region, as part of the fourth stage of the race extending 182 kilometres, starting from Fujairah, passing through the Masfout area and reaching Fujairah, in a stage that combines sports competition with showcasing the country’s natural tourism assets.

The Masfout Gateway, which was officially inaugurated recently, is a prominent tourist and developmental landmark embodying the balance between the authenticity of the past and the aspirations of the future, and reflecting the commitment to elevating community quality of life by providing an integrated environment that combines living comfort with preserving authentic cultural heritage.

The Masfout area enjoys a distinguished natural and cultural position, combining spectacular mountain slopes and moderate climate, making it an ideal destination for mountain trips and environmental activities, and a preferred destination for family outings and natural tourism.

Masfout also won the title of “Best Tourism Village for 2025” from the United Nations World Tourism Organization, an achievement reflecting its distinction as an integrated tourist and developmental destination embodying the spirit of Emirati identity and enhancing the presence of Emirati villages on the global tourism map.

The routes of the UAE Tour 2026, held under the patronage of AD Ports Group and organized by Abu Dhabi Sports Council, are diverse, forming a unique blend that allows optimal performance for various categories of cyclists through mountain highlands, desert and urban roads, passing by a number of new landmarks and spectacular natural sites, highlighting the geographical and natural diversity and tourist attractions in various Emirates of the country.

It is worth noting that the UAE Council for Balanced Development implemented the “Masfout Gateway” project in the Masfout area of the Emirate of Ajman in cooperation with the Municipality and Planning Department, as part of its efforts aimed at enhancing sustainable development and elevating quality of life in Emirati villages and areas.
