The Strategic Knowledge Programme Delegation of the Ajman Government Visits the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy to Explore International Transformations and Strategic Trends

The delegation of the Strategic Knowledge Programme of the Ajman Government visited the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, as part of a knowledge visit to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi aimed at enhancing awareness of international transformations and strategic trends influencing the regional and global landscape. The visit was conducted within the framework of the knowledge-based role of the Programme, organised by the General Secretariat of the Ajman Executive Council.

The delegation met with His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Dhaheri, Deputy Director General of the Academy, who delivered a knowledge session entitled “The Foreign Policy of the United Arab Emirates: A Reading of the Current Phase”. The session addressed the strategic foundations of UAE foreign policy and the country’s approach to engaging with rapidly accelerating international transformations, within a vision grounded in balance, openness, the building of partnerships, and the preservation of regional and international stability.

The session reviewed a number of themes related to the evolution of the UAE’s role on the international stage, and an analysis of the geopolitical, economic, and technological variables the world is witnessing, alongside the importance of strategic flexibility and multilateral diplomacy in enhancing the country’s standing and global presence.

The visit featured an interactive discussion between the participants and His Excellency Dr. Al Dhaheri. The Strategic Knowledge Programme commended the quality of the knowledge content presented by the Academy, praising the role that the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy plays in preparing diplomatic talent and enhancing strategic understanding of international and regional issues.

The Programme also commended the qualitative content delivered by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Dhaheri, and the depth and balanced analysis that characterised the session — reflecting a high level of academic and practical expertise in reading global transformations and foresighting their future trajectories.

This visit comes as part of a series of specialised visits and sessions encompassed by the Strategic Knowledge Programme, which aims to enhance the readiness of government leaders and broaden their understanding of strategic issues and future transformations that bear upon development pathways and decision-making.
