Ajman Police Conducts Field Survey to Identify Vehicles Damaged by Rainfall

The Ajman Police General Command implemented a proactive initiative to provide damage and loss certificate issuance services for vehicles affected by rainwater accumulation across various areas of the Emirate, within the framework of its commitment to enhancing quality of life and facilitating procedures for community members.

His Excellency Colonel Ghaith Khalifa Al Kaabi, Director of the Comprehensive City Police Centre, explained that traffic and security patrol teams conducted a comprehensive field survey across the Emirate’s areas, particularly those that witnessed significant water accumulation, where damaged vehicles were identified — some of which had sustained mechanical faults or physical damage, in addition to the loss of number plates on certain vehicles.

His Excellency noted that the service is available through the Ajman Police smart application, with more than 94% of these services completed electronically, reflecting the efficiency of smart services and the speed of response.

He affirmed that the initiative aims to facilitate procedures for customers and enable them to complete their requirements without difficulty, through the issuance of the necessary certificates for damaged vehicles or lost number plates resulting from the weather conditions experienced across the country, without the need to submit a prior request.

The Director of the Comprehensive City Police Centre added that the proactive issuance of damage and loss certificates has enabled vehicle owners to complete repair procedures with agencies or insurance companies with ease, without the need to visit police centres, thereby contributing to a reduction in service completion time and the streamlining of its stages.

He affirmed that Ajman Police continues to develop its proactive services that exceed customer expectations, particularly during crises and emergencies, reinforcing its community role and consolidating the system of security, safety and quality of life in the Emirate.
