Humaid and Rashed bin Ammar Attend Closing of Obstacle Course Championship at Ajman Government Sports Tournament 2026

Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Ajman, and Sheikh Rashed bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Ajman Digital Department, attended the closing ceremony of the Obstacle Course Championship held as part of the Ajman Government Sports Tournament 2026 activities.

Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi and Sheikh Rashed bin Ammar Al Nuaimi praised the performance levels of competitors across all categories, as well as the distinguished organization of the event, which ran over three consecutive days.

The qualifying rounds witnessed strong participation in the women’s and youth categories alongside the men’s category, in a competitive atmosphere reflecting the high level of physical readiness and the spirit of challenge among participants.

The competitions were characterized by enthusiasm and keen rivalry, with competitors tackling diverse courses featuring speed, strength and endurance challenges, within an integrated organizational framework that upheld the highest standards of safety and precision, contributing to showcasing distinguished performances and qualifying the finest athletes to the final stage.

The Higher Organizing Committee affirmed that the Obstacle Course Championship attracted wide interest owing to the interactive sporting experience it offers, combining physical fitness with team spirit. It noted that the diversity of participating categories reflects the tournament’s success in attracting various age groups and interests.

The championship concluded with the finals for the men’s, women’s and teams categories, where competitions witnessed high levels of challenge and excitement among competitors who delivered strong performances reflecting their physical readiness and sporting spirit.

The championship saw winners crowned across several categories distributed over the competition days. The first day featured the professional women’s individual category and the amateur women’s individual category for government departments and institutions, alongside the girls’ youth category under 16 years.

The second day hosted the professional men’s individual category and the amateur men’s individual category for government departments and institutions, in addition to the boys’ youth category under 16 years.

On the third and final day, the professional men’s teams and professional women’s teams competitions were held, bringing the championship to a close amid an enthusiastic atmosphere and strong engagement from participants and spectators alike.

The conclusion of the championship confirmed its success as one of the most interactive and exciting events of the Sports Tournament, having attracted broad participation and delivered a distinctive sporting atmosphere within this year’s tournament programme.
