The events of Sayfuna Saada 2026 (“Our Summer, Happiness”) have been launched in the Emirate of Ajman, with broad participation from government and federal entities and strategic partners. The summer initiative aims to make productive use of students’ and young people’s time during the summer holiday through distinctive programmes and activities that contribute to skills development, the reinforcement of national identity, and the consolidation of the values of creativity, innovation, and community engagement — positively impacting quality of life in the Emirate.
The launch was marked by a visit from His Excellency Ahmed Al Raeesi, Chairman of the Supreme Organising Committee of the Government Summer Programme Sayfuna Saada, to the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department — one of the participating entities — where he was received by His Excellency Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department, in the presence of a number of its officials.
During the visit, Al Raeesi was briefed on the progress of work on the first day of events, reviewed the readiness of programmes and the mechanism for implementing activities, and was presented with an overview of the operational plans and the diversity of initiatives on offer to participants. He commended the level of organisation and coordination amongst the various entities, affirming that this cooperation embodies the spirit of institutional partnership and enhances the success of the initiative in achieving its objectives.
Sayfuna Saada 2026 benefits from active national partnerships, led by the Watani Fund as the strategic partner and the Federal Youth Authority, alongside support from the Ministry of Family and the Ministry of Culture — affirming the integration of efforts between federal and local institutions to enrich programmes directed at youth and families.
This year, the programme comprises 64 programmes and initiatives implemented by government entities, spanning community and family programmes, cultural activities, summer centres for girls and boys, specialised scientific centres, programmes dedicated to persons of determination, as well as competitions and entertainment events — ensuring a comprehensive summer experience that meets the interests of various age groups.
A total of 28 government entities and institutions from various sectors are participating in the initiative, including the General Secretariat of the Executive Council, the Ajman Government Media Office, the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, the Ajman Department of Economic Development, the Ajman Land and Real Estate Regulation Department, the Department of Finance, the Ajman Government Human Resources Department, the Ajman Port and Customs Department, the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, the Free Zones Authority, Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ajman University, Al Madinah University – Ajman, the Ajman Society for Social and Cultural Development, the Umm Al Mu’mineen Women’s Association, the Al Ihsan Charitable Association, the Ajman Businesswomen Council, the Citizens Affairs Office, Etihad Water and Electricity, the Ajman Cooperative Society, the Ajman Club for People of Determination, the Emirates Autism Society, the Representative Office of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, Sheikh Khalifa Medical City – Ajman, the UAE Red Crescent Centre, and a number of other national institutions.
