Ajman Chamber Discusses Growth of Health Investments and Support for Medical Tourism in the Emirate

The Ajman Chamber discussed ways to develop health investments in the Emirate and advance the standard of medical facilities, with the aim of enhancing service quality and supporting plans to attract medical tourism in accordance with the highest international standards.

His Excellency Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Chamber, chaired the healthcare sector business groups meeting at the Ajman Chamber, attended by Akbar Mohiuddin, Chairman of the Healthcare Sector Business Groups and Deputy Chairman of the Thomby Group, Mohammed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Member Support Services Sector, and Jameela Kajour Al Nuaimi, Director of Member Relations and Support at the Ajman Chamber, along with group members comprising officials and representatives of healthcare and medical entities and centres in Ajman, at the Chamber’s headquarters.

His Excellency Salem Al Suwaidi affirmed the pivotal role of business groups in strengthening integration among entities operating in the healthcare sector, supporting the exchange of expertise and advancing qualitative initiatives that contribute to the development and elevation of healthcare services, as well as attracting and growing health investments and medical tourism in support of Ajman Vision 2030 targets.

The meeting addressed ways to increase the capacity of healthcare facilities in line with population growth and rising demand for medical services in the Emirate.

Attendees affirmed the importance of developing a comprehensive roadmap for health initiatives, alongside strengthening channels of cooperation and sustainable linkage between the healthcare and education sectors in Ajman, in support of developing national competencies and elevating health outcomes.

The meeting saw the presentation of a number of proposals supporting the integration of efforts in delivering innovative, value-added healthcare services that meet community needs and align with the Emirate’s directions towards building a sustainable and advanced healthcare system.
