The UAE Businesswomen Council, in cooperation with the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, organised the second training course within Level One of the Advanced Artificial Intelligence Programme for Women-Led Start-ups, entitled “Artificial Intelligence for Entrepreneurs”. Hosted by the Ajman Businesswomen Council, the course brought together 25 businesswomen and women entrepreneurs from across the UAE.
The course builds on the programme launched by the two entities under their strategic partnership, which aims to empower businesswomen and women entrepreneurs to keep pace with rapid technological transformation and strengthen their ability to employ artificial intelligence in developing their businesses. It also seeks to enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness, supporting women’s contribution to the digital economy and future sectors.
Her Excellency Moza Obaid Al Nasri, Chief Executive Officer of the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, affirmed that the programme forms part of the Fund’s strategy to support the UAE’s entrepreneurship ecosystem and empower diverse groups of entrepreneurs, including women entrepreneurs, who represent a fundamental pillar of national economic growth and diversification.
She said: “Our mission centres on equipping entrepreneurs with the tools, skills and knowledge that enable them to lead businesses capable of competing in a rapidly evolving digital economy. Artificial intelligence is no longer just a technological option; it has become a strategic driver for reshaping business models and creating value.
“Through this programme, we are committed to placing women entrepreneurs at the forefront of this transformation. Our partnership with the UAE Businesswomen Council represents a model of institutional integration that amplifies impact and supports the country’s direction towards a competitive, innovation-driven knowledge economy.”
For her part, Her Excellency Aisha Mohammed Al Mulla, Chairperson of the UAE Businesswomen Council, affirmed that organising the second course reflects the Council’s commitment to translating its strategic partnerships into practical initiatives that develop the capabilities of businesswomen and women entrepreneurs across the UAE.
She commended the fruitful cooperation with the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development and the Ajman Businesswomen Council’s hosting of the course, noting that this collaboration demonstrates integration among national institutions in supporting women’s entrepreneurship and enhancing women entrepreneurs’ readiness for the requirements of the new economy.
Her Excellency Dr Amal Abdullah Al Hadabi, First Vice Chairperson of the UAE Businesswomen Council and General Supervisor of the Ta’zeez Initiative, explained that the programme forms part of the implementation of the Council’s strategic plan, particularly its objective of strengthening women’s contribution to the digital economy.
She emphasised the importance of focusing on practical artificial intelligence applications and enabling participants to translate the knowledge and skills they acquire into innovative solutions that develop their businesses and enhance productivity and sustainability, thereby strengthening their role in supporting the national economy.
Dr Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Member of the Board of Directors of Ajman Chamber and Chairperson of Ajman Businesswomen Council, expressed the Council’s pride in hosting the course. She affirmed that the initiative reflects the importance of cooperation and integration among businesswomen councils and institutions supporting entrepreneurship in the UAE.
She added that the initiative aligns with Ajman Businesswomen Council’s efforts to provide specialised training programmes that keep pace with technological developments, develop the skills of women business owners, and enhance their ability to innovate and expand their economic activities.
The course covered a range of theoretical and practical topics, including the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and its role in business development, use cases and practical applications, and approaches to building a “virtual co-founder” using artificial intelligence technologies to support women entrepreneurs in managing and developing their businesses.
It also focused on enabling participants to employ artificial intelligence tools in managing files, data and email, automating work processes, and developing intelligent assistants tailored to their businesses’ needs. These applications contribute to greater operational efficiency, improved productivity, and savings in time and resources.
The continued implementation of the programme reaffirms the commitment of the UAE Businesswomen Council and the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, in cooperation with businesswomen councils across the country, to expanding targeted initiatives that enable women entrepreneurs to acquire future skills and strengthen their active participation in the digital economy and the country’s journey towards sustainable economic development.
