Ajman Businesswomen Council at Ajman Chamber discussed priorities for the next phase of developing its services, the launch of strategic initiatives to empower women entrepreneurs, and the expansion of partnership networks that support business growth and competitiveness. The discussions took place during the Council’s third Board meeting for 2026, chaired by Dr Amna Khalifa Al Ali, Chairperson of Ajman Businesswomen Council.
The meeting was held virtually as part of the Council’s efforts to expand economic opportunities for women entrepreneurs and strengthening the presence of women-led businesses within the business environment.
Dr Amna Khalifa underscored the importance of continuing to develop the Council’s operating framework and directing its programmes and initiatives towards more diverse economic opportunities. These opportunities enable women business owners and entrepreneurs to expand their operations and enter new markets, with a focus on promising sectors and enhancing women’s participation in industrial and productive sectors.
She noted that such efforts support the growth and sustainability of businesses and consolidate their role in developing Ajman’s economy.
She further noted that Ajman Businesswomen Council is committed to directing its initiatives and programmes in line with the objectives of the Ajman Lifelong Learning Strategic Framework, while enhancing the Council’s contribution to building an integrated ecosystem for continuous learning and human capital development.
The meeting discussed the “Masaa Community” initiative as an innovative interactive platform for Ajman Businesswomen Council. The platform is designed to promote the Council’s objectives and vision while highlighting its members, their success stories, businesses and products, and connecting them with economic opportunities, customers and partners.
The Masaa Community initiative aims to enhance the presence of women-led businesses, attract new members and open prospects for cooperation and investment. It will provide interactive spaces to showcase businesses, hold meetings and build relationships, while employing digital tools to facilitate communication, explore membership opportunities and measure the platform’s economic and community impact.
The meeting also reviewed updates on the implementation of the Takammul Programme for Women’s Industrial Entrepreneurship, as well as efforts to equip women entrepreneurs and develop their skills in transforming their ideas into sustainable industrial enterprises.
The programme focuses on sectors including food industries, perfumes, the fashion industry and other industries, enhancing innovation and sustainability, supporting investment growth, expanding partnership opportunities between women entrepreneurs and investors, and opening new prospects for marketing industrial products in local and international markets.
The meeting addressed Ajman Businesswomen Council’s achievements report through the third quarter of the current year, discussed agenda items, and identified development priorities for the final quarter of 2026.
It also reviewed updates on proposed programmes and projects for 2027, discussing new ideas and initiatives in consultation with Council members. These efforts will keep pace with the needs of women entrepreneurs, align with Ajman Vision 2030: Ajman for People, and support the achievement of the Council’s strategic objectives.
