Ajman Chamber organised a strategic retreat to formulate its projects and initiatives for 2027, identify priorities for the next phase, and align them with the objectives and principles of Ajman Vision 2030. The retreat supports the Chamber’s direction towards facilitating the ease of doing business, eliminating bureaucracy, and developing more efficient and agile services that meet the aspirations of the business community and customers.
The retreat was attended by Ajman Chamber employees and moderated by Faisal Ismail Al Khouri, Director of the Strategy and Future Department, at Saray Ajman Hotel.
His Excellency Salem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Chamber, affirmed the importance of the strategic retreat in assessing the current state of services, anticipating opportunities for their development, and formulating projects and initiatives that keep pace with the requirements of the next phase and the aspirations of the business community.
He said that the participation of the Chamber’s employees in developing the work ecosystem and decision-making represents a fundamental pillar in achieving its objectives. He noted that the retreat enabled employees to put forward and discuss ideas and proposals, and transform them into practical initiatives that support service development.
The retreat included a series of sessions focused on analysing existing services and processes and identifying opportunities for their development. These included reducing completion times and the number of steps, strengthening automation, and leveraging artificial intelligence and data, as well as assessing project impact, ease of implementation, and setting priorities. These efforts contribute to enhancing performance efficiency and improving the customer experience.
The proposed projects and initiatives for 2027 were also linked to Ajman Chamber’s strategic objectives, which focus on improving the business environment, strengthening trade and logistics networks to support trade growth, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and promoting entrepreneurship.
The retreat concluded with the identification of a range of proposed projects and initiatives for 2027, based on defined priorities and performance and impact indicators. This will support implementation follow-up, results measurement, and assessment of their impact on institutional efficiency and the quality of services provided to the business community.
