The total value of registered tenancy contracts in the Emirate of Ajman during the first half of 2026 reached approximately AED 2.91 billion, with a total of 73,472 tenancy contracts, according to data issued by the Ajman Municipality & Planning Department.
These indicators reflect the sustained activity of the Emirate’s rental market and its growing attractiveness for residence, investment and business, supporting the objectives of Ajman Vision 2030 to enhance the competitiveness of the business environment, attract investment and drive economic growth.
His Excellency Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Ajman Municipality & Planning Department, affirmed that the Emirate continues to consolidate its position as an ideal destination for residence and investment, supported by its integrated advantages, flexible legislation, advanced infrastructure and smart services. These contribute to facilitating the customer journey, enhancing quality of life and community wellbeing, and meeting the needs of residents and investors, thereby supporting the comprehensive and sustainable development journey under way in the Emirate.
He added that the results achieved reflect growing confidence in Ajman’s economic and investment environment, and affirm the impact of ongoing efforts to develop services and provide a supportive and enabling environment for individuals, investors and business owners. Such efforts keep pace with the Emirate’s growth across various fields and support its sustainable development and economic journey.
For his part, His Excellency Yousuf Mohammed Al Shaiba, Executive Director of the Department’s Rental Regulation Sector, explained that the recorded indicators reflect the continuing activity in tenancy contracts and sustained demand for residence and investment in the Emirate.
He affirmed that the Department continues to develop the rental regulation system and harness smart technologies and advanced systems to accelerate transaction completion, simplify procedures and enhance the efficiency of services provided to customers, while strengthening transparency and safeguarding the rights of all parties to tenancy relationships.
