Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Tourism, Culture and Media – Ajman, and Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, visited Ajman’s pavilion at Arabian Travel Market 2026, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
During the visit, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid and Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid reviewed the participation of tourism entities and establishments under the pavilion, organised by the Department of Tourism, Culture and Media – Ajman. They met with representatives of hotels, resorts, travel and tourism companies, and other participating entities, and were briefed on their key efforts to develop tourism products and experiences, as well as explore opportunities for cooperation with regional and international markets. These efforts contribute to enhancing Ajman’s competitiveness on the global tourism landscape.
They also toured the pavilion’s various spaces, including the “From Ajman’s Memory” corner, which showcases key milestones in the Emirate’s history and development journey through a collection of archival photographs. The pavilion also features a cultural corner highlighting traditional crafts and local heritage, as well as a media and interactive corner presenting content and experiences that showcase Ajman’s tourism and cultural identity in an innovative and engaging manner.
Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid affirmed that Ajman is entering a new phase centred on integration, innovation and sustainability, building on its diverse tourism assets and its ability to develop offerings that keep pace with global developments in the travel and tourism industry, respond to market needs, and provide visitors with experiences that reflect Ajman’s distinctive character and Emirati spirit.
He noted that the next phase will place greater emphasis on developing integrated tourism experiences, strengthening partnerships with the private sector, and diversifying target markets, in line with evolving traveller behaviour and emerging global trends in the tourism sector.
The Department of Tourism, Culture and Media – Ajman’s participation in Arabian Travel Market forms part of its efforts to strengthen the Emirate’s position as a destination that combines authenticity and modernity, while leveraging international platforms to expand its partnership network and explore new opportunities for cooperation and investment. These efforts support the growth of the tourism sector and contribute to achieving the Emirate’s future objectives and the goals of Ajman Vision 2030
