Ammar bin Humaid Receives the Minister of State for Youth Affairs

His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, received today at his office in the Amiri Diwan His Excellency Dr Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, in the presence of Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi.

His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi welcomed His Excellency the Minister, commending the national efforts being made to empower youth and enhance their presence and participation in the journey of comprehensive development in the UAE.

His Highness was briefed on the National Readiness Programme Ghatareef, launched by the Federal Youth Authority and targeting male and female secondary school graduates. The programme embodies the wise leadership’s vision of preparing a generation equipped with readiness for the future and capable of actively participating in serving the nation and supporting its development priorities.

During the meeting, a number of youth-related topics were discussed, and ways to strengthen their role and active participation across various fields were reviewed — in alignment with the UAE’s vision of empowering an ambitious generation that possesses the knowledge and skills necessary to continue the journey of development and nation-building, and to contribute to shaping the nation’s future.

His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman stated that confidence in youth represents a firmly established approach in the UAE, and that investing in their preparation and enhancing their readiness is a national responsibility — embodied in the distinctive initiatives and programmes aimed at developing their knowledge, honing their skills, and broadening their experience, enabling them to play an active role in continuing the journey of sustainable development and contributing to the building of the nation’s future.

His Highness affirmed that Ajman, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, is committed to investing in youth, supporting them, and providing the stimulating environment that unleashes their potential across various sectors — as they are the nation’s true wealth, the foundation of its renaissance, and the driving force of its development journey today, tomorrow, and in the future.

For his part, His Excellency Dr Sultan Al Neyadi affirmed the efforts and commitment of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, in supporting and empowering youth. He stressed the importance of integrating national efforts to strengthen the youth empowerment system and provide further quality opportunities that contribute to developing their capabilities and motivating them towards innovation, achievement, and active participation in the national development journey.

His Excellency stated that the UAE has established a global model in youth empowerment through a comprehensive system of policies and initiatives put in place by the wise leadership, which has reinforced their pivotal and active role in the development journey.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Khaled Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Authority; Khalifa Ahmed bin Hammad, Director of the Office of the Minister of State for Youth Affairs; Mariam Al Shamsi, Director of the Ajman Girls Centre; and a number of officials.
