Abdulaziz bin Humaid Honours Winners of Sixth Edition of Ajman Real Estate Classification Programme

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Land and Real Estate Regulation Department, affirmed that the Real Estate Classification Programme supports the Department’s efforts to advance the real estate sector by enhancing the performance of property development companies and real estate offices. He noted that the programme also contributes to improving the quality of life in residential communities, in line with the vision of the wise leadership to strengthen Ajman’s position as a modern city that provides residents with wellbeing, comfort and a high quality of life, while meeting the needs and aspirations of all segments of society.

The remarks came during a ceremony to announce the results of the sixth edition of the Real Estate Classification Programme, organised by the Department on the sidelines of the Ajman Real Estate Investment Exhibition, in the presence of a number of senior officials, investors and business leaders in the Emirate of Ajman.

Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi honoured the winners of the Real Estate Classification Programme Awards, commending their outstanding performance and commitment to keeping pace with the rapid growth of Ajman’s real estate market through the adoption of innovative work practices and the provision of integrated services that reflect Ajman’s reputation and standing, while meeting future requirements and the aspirations of the wise leadership.

For his part, His Excellency Engineer Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of the Ajman Land and Real Estate Regulation Department, stated that the Department conducted field inspection visits to real estate offices to assess their readiness and compliance with the standards and regulations of the Real Estate Classification Programme. He explained that these standards were developed based on studies and benchmarking against international organisations, with the aim of keeping pace with the rapid development of the real estate sector, enhancing the performance of real estate companies, and supporting the Emirate of Ajman’s economic aspirations.

He added that, as part of the classification process for real estate offices and brokers, the Department focused on criteria designed to ensure governance and objectivity in the evaluation process. These included assessing brokers’ compliance with real estate regulations and legislation, the number of sales transactions concluded through them, their academic qualifications and completed training programmes, and the awards and recognitions they had received from government and private entities. The evaluation also took into account the number of complaints and violations registered against each real estate broker.
