‏Ajman Government’s Strategic Knowledge Programme Explores Artificial Intelligence Directions and Governance

The Strategic Knowledge Programme for Senior Leaders in Ajman Government organised a session entitled “Strategic Workshop on Artificial Intelligence,” delivered by Roland Abi Najm, an expert in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.

The workshop reviewed the latest global developments in artificial intelligence, particularly the transition towards Agentic AI, and presented international government experiences in leveraging artificial intelligence. It also discussed methodologies for assessing and prioritising initiatives based on their strategic value, feasibility, and anticipated impact.

The workshop further addressed artificial intelligence governance from a leadership perspective, cybersecurity and compliance risks, and the importance of data quality, institutional capacity-building, and strengthening integration among government entities.

The session concluded with a practical group exercise to analyse real-world government challenges using artificial intelligence tools and develop implementable solutions, with a focus on critical thinking and verifying artificial intelligence outputs before their adoption.
