The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Housing Award 2026 honoured the Humaid bin Rashid AlNuaimi Charity Foundation during its seventh edition, in the Private Sector, Charitable Associations and Institutions category, in recognition of the Foundation’s distinguished contributions to supporting the housing sector, serving the community and enhancing quality of life.
The recognition took place during the fourth Gulf Housing Week, hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the participation of a distinguished group of institutions, entities and initiatives from across the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The award was received by His Excellency Tariq Abdullah Al Awadhi, Director General of the Humaid bin Rashid AlNuaimi Charity Foundation.
The GCC recognition reflects appreciation for the Foundation’s active role in serving the community and supporting developmental, humanitarian and housing initiatives, particularly in the housing sector, in line with the GCC countries’ efforts to advance sustainable development and improve quality of life.
The Foundation affirmed that the recognition is a source of pride and the result of its continuous efforts to implement high-quality initiatives with sustainable community impact. It also strengthens the presence of the UAE and its national institutions at Gulf forums and underscores the importance of community partnership in supporting the development journey.
The honour serves as an incentive for the Humaid bin Rashid AlNuaimi Charity Foundation to continue its efforts in housing, charitable and humanitarian work, thereby contributing to strengthening family and social stability and supporting sustainable development.
